Are You A Traveler

There are people that just have it in their blood to travel but there are those who would just rather be at home. I have known people that have never left the place they were raised then others who never stopped moving when they were old enough to go. What about you..are you a traveler or would you rather stay home? Maybe your in between the two.

I am a traveler. Have lived here all my life but have traveled all over the western ,northern and some southern states. Haven't been to any eastern states yet. I plan on seeing Europe at some point. Hope it pans out. I went to British Columbia Canada back in the mid nineties and enjoyed it immensely. I saw some the islands surrounding there as well. I think my favorite part of the US so far is the Redwoods of California. Beautiful! [celticeagle]
Yes, clouds are elusive and hard to capture the full effect on film. [celticeagle]

I have often thought about traveling to another country. The only country I have visited is Canada. I have traveled in the USA. Went to Florida in my teens, but it was with family. One day I hope to travel there again. Hawaii is another place I dream of visiting. Until the funds are available for such ventures, I will have to be content with traveling to places that are closer to home. [ElusiveButterfly]
Hi ElusiveButterfly! Traveling is traveling even if it is close to home sometimes. I would love to visit Canada. I have some family that live in St. Petersburg Florida that I visited every summer as a child. My dad used to live there too. I really enjoy Florida. I have visited a couple of times since adulthood but not the same area. Thanks for responding. [JenInTN]

I love to travel some but I am always glad to get home. [anniefannie]
Thanks for sharing. You are a bit of a traveler! Home is an awesome place to come after being out and about though. [JenInTN]

I am not a travel person, but then again I have never really had the money to travel. That may have helped make me the way I am about traveling. I don't even like to go out that much. I prefer to stay home. [lilybug]
Money can choose for us sometimes but some people really like being where they are. Nothing wrong with liking where we are. Thanks for the response. [JenInTN]

to tell you frankly i am a home buddy. i enjoy being at home with my wife and my son. i also enjoy travelling but i would enjoy it if i was with them. if there is nothing important to do outside i stay at home. now that i have a new band i know travewlling will start again. i am getting ready for that. i am making sure my laptop is okay for chatting and to see my chld on the webcam [se7enthbird]
I understand that. Webcams are awesome for keeping in touch! I hope you do make it big friend. Don't forget about the little people like me..lolwink [JenInTN]

Yes, I would have to say that I am a traveler. I've always loved to travel, ever since I was a kid. I find that it's a great way to learn, and grow. I hope to get many more chances to travel, in my life. [dodo19]
Hi dodo! I agree it helps us to grow. I love to travel when I get a chance. Thanks for the response. [JenInTN]

I love to travel. In 2006, I made it to fifteen different countries. I haven't been as ambitious about reaching as many places since, but I've still been traveling whenever I get the opportunity to. I love to see new places and experience new cultures. One of my favorite things is to try different foods when I'm traveling, regardless of whether they are native to where I am or not. I find that the way foods are prepared vary drastically from country to country, even if they are not a specialty of the culture I am in (for instance, a hamburger here could be prepared differently than a hamburger in timbuktu, etc) - I like to experiment and see what's out there! [theweerouss]
Wow! Sounds like you are well traveled indeed! I love the cultures and trying the food as well. I was introduced to a whole new menu while visiting Japan, I loved everything. Culture..food..people..I'm in. What fifteen did you visit? Sounds amazing. [JenInTN]

I LOVE to travel! If I had the money and could take the time off of work, I would travel a lot more than what I do. At this time in my life I take about one trip a year. One big trip that is. That doesen't include little weekend trips. I just love going out and exploring new places. [Jennlk84]
That's great Jennlk! So where you been? I love to travel too. I don't do as much as I would like anymore but I try to do a good trip a year...maybe two..lol..depends. Thanks for the response. [JenInTN]

Hey Jen! I am one of those people that are inbetween! I am not much of a traveller! I have gone to Canada about 4 times, but other than that I have not left the Country! I have gone only in the USA. I have visited a few of the States here, but that's all. I am not one to be travelling much! I prefer to stay at home. I don't like to fly, prefer to go by car. I do have to fly to Florida to see my Mom and will be going there next month. But, the few states I have seen I have travelled by bus, or train or car. [Opal26]
Heyya Opal! I'm not that crazy about planes either. I almost have to take a valium before boarding. Once I'm on and up...I'm ok..but I get a little nervous beforehand. I think a roadtrip is better. Thanks for responding. [JenInTN]

I have no travel bug. If I won the lottery I most likely would travel, I'd like to see New Zealand, Canada, Southern Ireland, Scandinavia, and perhaps Hungary, and maybe spend some time in Britain just for the chance to play and hear some good folk music, but otherwise it doesn't bother me at all being a stay-at-home. The reason for this is that I have always been an avid reader, and I travel in my mind. Good heavens, I've been to Alpha Centauri, other galaxies even. I've been thousands of years into the past, and into the future. I've lived thousands of lifes and deaths, loved thousands of beautiful women. Who needs the hassles of jet-lag or sea-sickness and McDonalds hotels? Lash [grandpa_lash]
I agree that the reader can be the traveler among travelers. Our mind is actually a much bigger place than we give credit..or want to. I would say with all tose places and those lovely women...your good. And as for the music..well..my b/f plays some mean guitar..LOL...I'll write you a story. [JenInTN]

I'm between. I do like to go places and see things, but I like to have a home to come home too. Its hard to keep pets if you are constantly moving, hard to make friends - well for me any way. [ElicBxn]
Well, my sister, cousin and uncle already live there, but I doubt I'm going there, too many things here in Austin to keep me here. [ElicBxn]

I like to travel and I love to drive. I would drive all the time if I could but unfortunately sometimes I have to be home. I dont like to fly though so I dont get to travel too far.... [callahanb78]
Driving can be th ebest trips. Thanks for responding. [JenInTN]

No,I am not.I always stay at home in holiday. But I hate this,I want to travel,to other cities to find something interesting. My hubby like to stay at home,he hates travelling,so I must stay home with him.It is boring.I think I will travel next holiday. [susiehappy]
I hope you get to. Maybe your hubby will want to too. Thanks for the response. [JenInTN]

i had rather be home than anywhere. of course if a knight on a white horse come by i might jump on. omgosh, just the thought of that is hilarios. [ANTIQUELADY]
not yet but have been thining of trying them.i need some enery. [ANTIQUELADY]

I had a blessed childhood; We had many vacations. Even as a young adult I would go along with my parents when my dad had to travel. I enjoyed it very much at the time. Years have gone by and I am now content to stay home with my two cats. [muscles4me]
Hi Jenn. I know for sure that I would not enjoy flying. It seems like too much work to pack. [muscles4me]

No, I don't like travelling. I like my home best. I have been to New Delhi and Mumbai two of the places people like to visit monuments and beutiful places but I never went to a beach in mumbair or Lalquila In New Delhi. Seems taht I am a little lazy when it comes to travelling. [sanuanu]
LOL, she is missing me and I am missing her. Is it like - multipy by - is equal to +. Why can't it be + multiply + is equal to +? [sanuanu]

I am so excited to travel it is almost unbearable. I have been all over the United States. Yosemite, San Francisco, New Orleans, Chicago, Santa Barbara, and NYC are my favorite. Vermont is special and so is Michigan/Wisconsin along the great lakes. Northern California is a uniquely great place. I have read a lot of books about vagabonding...where you just earn money as you go. Unfortunately I have this responsible steak and am not quite confident enough to go on a really long travel sabbatical. I did spend three weeks in Maui once....another place full of magic. I do need my home to return to when I am done though. [teabug]
Sounds like it's in your blodd to travel. Those responsible streaks can put a damper on vagabonding though..lol. I traveled often when I was younger with little or no means and look back on it and think How in the world did I do that...lol. I grew my streak later..Thanks for responding. [JenInTN]

well. think i fond of travel and alwasy willing to travel. luckily my friend also fond of it so we can have travel together once we have chance.and currently we even have some short travel among the city we living in. it's our plan to visit very single area of this city before we move this city. if we got a long term Holiday we plan to have a long travel outside. [celebratelifeh]
It's nice to have someone to travel with. It makes the experience a lot more fun. Thanks for the response. [JenInTN]

im in between...i dont have much money to do traveler..but i love traveler i like to see all over the world..the place, people, and more more [xsan99]
Money can be a definate factor. Thanks for the response. [JenInTN]

i like to travel.. but this time i have to finish mu study so i can not travel a lot.. maybe when i have finish it i can go somewhere new.. [nekotama]
Oh yes...study now..travel later. You'll get to do a lot more if you study now and get a good job. Thanks for the response. [JenInTN]

yeah,i like to travele different places,if i have time and chance i will go eo travele with my family or my friend.in 1995 i leaved my hometown and stuied in northeast province ,in china i have been too many city and mountain,i also traveled in africa ,in my trip i can see beautiful scenery and know many friend ,i like traveling very much [JACK1000000]
I bet that Africa trip was amazing. I would like to visit China as well. Thanks for the response. [JenInTN]

I love to travel and you could say it's in my blood but alas! I haven't been able to do any travelling for so many years! When I lived in Italy travelling was easier because we lived in the north near the border and we could go to Switzerland and France just for the day! It's hard to imagine doing that now that I'm in the Land Down under! I did the backpacking thing when I was younger and travelled from Australia to Singapore through Malaysia, Thailand, Jordan and the U.K. We came home when we ran out of money although we got jobs along the way here and there. We couldn't afford to travel at first and now that we have a child and a mortgage we have no hope! I would really like to visit the States next. I'll get there one day! happy [paula27661]
Wow!! You got to backpack! That's great. Sounds like you have had some amazing travels. After having a child and a mortgage..things do slow down a bit in the traveling department. I hope you get to come to the states too. You'll have to look me up if you do. Thanks for the response. [JenInTN]

I'm not really a traveller, even though love to go out of country for holiday at least once a year. Most seamen are great travellers. I think sitting in the office whole day will kill them. They love the sea, the sun and the blue sky. They love going to different places as part of their job. They are the ones who are great travellers. Imagine going to so many different places and spend so little time at home. [scheng1]
Hmm..a seaman. They are great travelers. I could not imagine being away for the length of time those guys are. Like you said though..it is part of who they are. Thanks for responding. [JenInTN]

traveler..i am born to bee a traveler..i am planning to save lot's of money and travel around the world and see the whole world..it's my wish..and intend to achieve it very soon..i want to experience live to fullest..always envy the traveler journalist who get paid by telling their experience as a traveler..i want to experience their life too..huhu [fasyahime]
Those journalists are amazing. I would like to read your stories when you hit the road. It would be fun to travel and write about your experiences. Thanks for the response. [JenInTN]

I love travele very much,I have been some place of china, but not enough many. When you are in the road of traveling you could make new diferent friends ,explort our sight,to feel nore the details of the life.It is amazing.when i traveler along i would think many thing coolly,it make me to peace. [emma1987]
Hopefully you'll get to travel some more in the future. Thanks for responding. [JenInTN]

Agreed, they just can't stay in one place forever and traveling is their life blood. They'll decide when and where just to travel. They'll explore more in this world, I have seen some travel with just map. That's cool. Happy Mylotting. [Hvaniday1]
Me too. Grab a map and hit the road. It must be neat to feel such freedom. Thanks Hvaniday. [JenInTN]

I love to travel! It's so exciting going to foreign lands and seeing different cultures and lifestyles. I can't imagine staying in the same place all of my life, the world is here to be embraced and learn from. I'm going to Egypt soon and i can't wait! If i had more money i dont think i would ever stop traveling :) [simmy281286]
Me either. I would love to visit Egypt! I bet it is an amazing place full of magic. Thanks for responding. [JenInTN]

hi, i like travelling very much ,when i was a young girl ,i often go to other cities or countries with my dad or my mother ,but now i must live on my own ,i find i havet enough time to travel ..... [sarahong]
It's hard to find time to travel when your on your own. Thanks for the response. [JenInTN]

Yes I am a traveler. But I am not international I can afford only to travel somewhere around my country. There are many places in our country which are worth watching. I think I am traveling at least one location in one month that too for over night. We are all college friends and managing to go by deciding a specific location and time. These are all turning into my memorable moments [rakesh284]
I have only traveled out of my country once. There are a lot of place to see within mine too. Money and time keep me traveling around where I live too. Thanks for responding. [JenInTN]

Yes, I like to go anywhere that interesting for me. I can make me happy by looking some beautiful islands and places. There are many interesting and wonderful places in my country. You should go here in my country to feel a truly traveler.. [aris04]
I hope to visit your country someday. I bet it would be an amazing trip. Thanks for responding. [JenInTN]

I am a traveler for sure. I was either born a traveler or caught the travel bug when I was really young. When I was a child I remember hearing Foreign Languages and these fascinated me. I was delighted when my family took trips to France. I had a globe and knew where the Equator, Tropic of Cancer and Tropic of Capricorn were. I put my finger on various places and told my mum I am going to visit there one day. I told her I wanted to travel around the world. I asked her when I got a paper round at age 16 if we could go on vacation somewhere overseas, further away than France. She said we could and I saved up to go to Greece with her when I was 14. I got a Saturday job and saved to visit the Netherlands with a friend when i was 17. At age 18 I worked in Finland as a children's nanny and then had enough money to tour Europe. At age 19 I went to Tunisia and St Lucia with money from my full time job. Then I was made redundant and I took off at last on my way around the world age 20. Since then I have continued traveling and so far I have been to more than 50 different countries. [maximax8]
Sounds as though traveling is definately in your blood. I think that travelers are often called to do so. It must be wonderful to be so well traveled. Thanks for sharing your travels with us and take care. [JenInTN]

Hi dear hmmmmm i think i oprefer to stay home East or West, Home is Best Take care [cupid74]
Ha ha ha Very well Said Well, i was busy in Office thats why cant come on line, but trust me if u were willing to talk to me u might have find aa way for thatwink And u r right Home is Best, i dont mind on and off travelling but sure not regular Take carehappy [cupid74]

I love to travel and it is my favorite thing to do. I love being on the road, going somewhere new and not knowing what the next day will bring. I only wish I could travel more! [angemac23]
Hi angemac! I like to travel too. Sounds like you are very adventurous. Thanks for sharing. [JenInTN]

i love to travel. it's a learning experience and it shows the different cultures of people from different places. i've been to hong kong twice, singapore, macau, shenzhen china, malaysia, and many parts of the philippines. if i earn enough money, i hope to visit europe and north america. [pinaybigbucks]
I love to experience different cultures too. I also love the people and food. I am no where near as traveled as you are but I hope to travel more in the future too. Thanks for sharing your travels. [JenInTN]

I love travelling and even though, i am busy with my full time job, i will try to create room for travelling. Last summer, i travelled to sydney and goldcoast and before that i have been to thailand and i loved it. Well, i don't have any idea this year. Guys, you know its recession period :) [pavan4568]
It is a tough time for people right now. I think that traveling is at a very low cost though. I've been considering a cruise this year but am a bit hesitant too. Thanks for the response. [JenInTN]

yeah. I think I am between the two. at the holiday, I will go out with friends. travel some place I never go. at common day, I always at school. [vickycity]
I'm not the full time traveler either. I have a fulltime job...kids...etc..so it's usually vacation I take big trips. Thanks for responding. [JenInTN]

I am only a traveler when the trip is conceived by others. I am insecure in new places and this will overpower any joy that I could have, unless someone else is guiding me. I am most comfortable at home in a area where I am familiar. [savypat]
I like to know where I'm at too. I was really nervous when I went to Japan but we had people that took us everywhere we went and planned our trip. Otherwise I might have been uncomfortable. Thanks for the response. [JenInTN]

back when i was younger before the kids came along, i had itchy feet, i couldn't stay in one place for too long, i have gypsy blood so i was always on the move, when i had my first son i lived on a site for hippies and travellers, then when my 2nd son came along i got my own home and started to settle down, now that the boys are men i can go off again if i want, but i am stuck firmly at the moment and i think all my travelling days are gone now...i do go and visit people in other towns but as for moving on from place to place, i think that's all gone now...but i do still have the hippie in me.... [tattylashes]
Bet you are a lot of fun tattylashes! With lots of great memories. Thanks for responding. [JenInTN]

I am a traveler..definitely. If I can gather some money aside the everyday expenses it is most likely I will invest them into a vacation of some sort. I love it! [valpopa]
Good for you! I like vacations too. Thanks for the response. [JenInTN]

leaving your footprints in many places in the world is very fantastic. i am not a traveller now, but if i can make money myself i will try to go some places i dream for. [wzdream]
Hi wzdream! You should try and leave your footprints in the world..I like the way you said that. Take care and thanks for responding. [JenInTN]

I love travelling and I have been abroad over 40 times but it is alwys nice to come home and sleep in your own bed mgraham126 [mgraham126]
I agree there is no place better to sleep than home. Thanks for responding. [JenInTN]

I would love to travel but I have some restrictions so I can go as far as Southeast Asian countries only. I don't have visas for other countries. I love to travel I started traveling just this year. the first city I visited was Bangkok and it was really a good thing to travel. It is educational. Next year I am planning to visit Indonesia or India. [MisterPlus]
That's great MisterPlus! Traveling is very educational and a lot of fun. I like trying the different foods and experiencing the different cultures. Thanks for responding and happy travels. [JenInTN]

I love to travel and my work takes me to various places. I had been to many a places now. My father used to travel a lot too, and I would accompany him. I guess it rubbed on to me. But that doesnt mean I dont like to be at home. Sometimes i prefer to snuggle up at my home and wont go antwhere no matter what the situation would compel me to. Hehehehe [bodhisatya]
I think ahving a job that requires travel is best for those that have it in their blood. That way they are content and don't feel so unsettled. It helps you to enjoy what you have at home too. Thanks for the response. [JenInTN]

I love to travel! I just recently took my first cruise to Mexico! I have lived in the same place for about 7 years, but I am ready to move and try a new place as soon as I finish my degree. [jess368]
Thanks! My boyfriend and I took this cruise for $299/person for a 5 day cruise! We went to Cozumel and Progresso, Mexico. It was a wonderful trip, for an amazingly cheap price. We also benefited because we were able to drive to the port, so we didnt have to pay for a plane ticket. You should definitely look into them now. While gas is cheap, the cruises will stay low! [jess368]

I am 50/50 but my husband would rather stay home. If I do not plan trips, we would go nowhere. If I were single, with the financial means, I would travel to my heart's delight! [nanajanet]
Yes, for sure!! I would be one of those old ladies taking all of the tours with the Red Hat Society! LOL [nanajanet]

Hi Jen. Im definitely a traveler. I've been to North America, Europe, and Asia. I plan on visiting Egypt or South Africa one day. Sadly I don't have any travel plans anytime soon, I wish I could just go somewhere far, sit back and relax, basically just get away from all the brouhaha going on around me. Pardon my semi rant Jen happy, Cheers! [brady2moss]
No problem brady! I know you've had a lot going on lately. You do need a vacation. Thanks for responding. [JenInTN]

I would rather stay at home, but that is after I have traveled the seven seas. I have been very fortunate, to have had the opportunity to travel around the world since I was very young, but after many years traveling and now that, it is rather uncomfortable to travel I rather stay home. Anyhow I have move around a lot because I have business in a couple of different places and traveling is still a most. However, I am sure that one day I will find a place that I will love so much that I will stay. [eztuner]
I hope you find that place. It can get old to travel all the time. Sometimes we travel because we're looking for something. Thanks for the response. [JenInTN]

i hate traveling scared of planes [splatball911]
I used to be afraid too and still get very nervous just before my trips. Thanks for responding. [JenInTN]

Hey, Jen....I used to be totally nomadic (as long as I had a home to come back to!)And still love to travel, but like to be grounded..I think that is something that happens when you get older! I have been all over North America, both coasts, missed some areas in between....but on my "bucket list" is my home country of Sweden, & South America....throw in Australia, too! Sure hope I win the lottery, so they won't always be a figment of my imagination! Cheers! [pergammano]
I have a long "bucket list" lol..It is nice to have a home to come to after our travels. I guess in your line of work you were quite the nomad. Thanks for responding. [JenInTN]

iam between those two, stay at home and travel, usually iam became traveller when i must done my job, sometimes it takes more than 6 month or more, move from one place to another, then when break, i stay at home, i dont want to go out, only at home, spend my time for enjoy my life, but its not too long, my break time around 2 weeks before i become traveller again. okey [galihhs]
I can see why you would want to be at home and not get out sometimes. Constant travel can be grueling if you have to do it. Thanks for responding. [JenInTN]

Hello Jenin..I love travelling of course too:) but I am just student..and I do not have money for it:( but when I will earn I will travel all around the world..I want to know new places, people, culture..and of course I want to learn new languages. I will be 17 and I am from Slovakia..and I have been just in Czech Republik (Prague) and in Austria (Wienna)...but I enjoyed it..and now I want to study Ireland for schoolarship..so keep your finger across my friends.. [brslikova6]
thank u too jen..I see your topic is very popular :) congratulate :D [brslikova6]

i love to travel, but i do not like paying the expinsive prices to travel really far. i have been out of the country before to mexico and it was an amazing time, i really like the beaches down there. i would like to go to italy and rome to see the cathedrals and areas. where all have you been [snow_one]
I went to Japan a few years ago. It was amazing. I was especially in awe of the temples and architecture there. I wouls love to travel Europe as well. The rest of my travels have been within my country. I've traveled it from one end to the other...lol..I would like to go to Mexico too. I bet that was a great trip. [JenInTN]

When I was still back in Germany we traveled all the time, now since I've been here I don't really go anywhere. I don't have a car and I'm scared of flying so I'm kinda stuck here, but I love to go to different places if I could. [missybear]
I'm really nervous about flying too Missy. Taking off and landing are my issues..lol..maybe you will get to travel around a bit later on. Thanks for the response. [JenInTN]

I am inclined to be both. I love to travel, but I also want to go home. I do not want to stay at home. In fact, if I stay too long I go stir crazy, and then I have to go out someplace, and that someplace is not to the local shopping Mall or to the next town, it is out of the province, and every few years, I have a desire to go out of the country. But because of finances, we cannot as well as my husband's health. But I am saving my money so that if the worse happens, I can go on a cruise, but then I will go back home until I save for another trip. [suspenseful]
I'm always ready to come home towards the end of my trips too. I'd love to take a cruise too. Finances can make it very hard to travel alot but cruises are pretty cheap right now. Thanks for the response. [JenInTN]

I am not a regular traveler but I have not that preoccupation of not living the place where I was raised. I can go anywhere provided time and money support the mission or else I am always eager to visit places. [krajibg]
I guess I'm inbetween. I always want to come home toward the end of my trip. Time and money can greatly influence our traveling habits. Thanks for the response and take care. [JenInTN]

HI ! Jen! Given an opportunity, I love travelling to different places. Our is a vast country and there are many places, which have not been visited by me. I make it a point to visit different beaches, hill stations, historical places etc. at least once in a year for the sake of change and enhancing my knowledge. I learn a lot about people, culture and style of food and living over there, when I visit such places. However, travelling does not come without hassles and one needs to comprise on many aspect while staying and travelling at different places. Sometimes, I write about my travelling experiences on Associated Contents, you can see one of my articles over there, with the below mentioned link. http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/1500944/a_beautiful_tourist_place_goa.html?cat=16 [dpk262006]
Hi! Jen! Many thanks for the compliments, you really made my day with your lovely comments.happy [dpk262006]

I am not a travelerthumbdown. Most of the time i be at home either for studying or for working.Only there are special holidays that i get leave that is after my exams. Then i love to travel.I go to my native place. There i visit places like beach and do traveling. If we have a mix of both fun and work our mind will feel fresh to do our work actively.happyhappy [vicky30]
Hi vicky! I do agree there needs to be a healthy balance of fun and work so that we function happily. Thanks for the response. [JenInTN]

my husband is a traveller and i dont i mean we are evry opposite.i scared to ride a planerolleyes [bombshell]
Planes can be scary. Sometimes it's more comfortable to be at home. Thanks for the response. [JenInTN]

I love to travel and don't get enough oportunities to do so. I do fly to Winnipeg, where my hubby is living right now, but that isn't the same as going for a holiday. I have been to a lot of different cities in the States and I have been to Cuba and Mexico. I also have travelled all over Canada. I prefer to stay in Canada because it is my own country and I love to see everything in my own country. I have been from Toronto to as far west as Victoria. But I have never travelled farther east that Toronto. But I will be this summer. My ex-husbands sister has invited my daughter and I to go to their summer home in Prince Edward Island. We are going for the last week in August and the first week of September. They built a house on an inlet with ocean front property. Her, my ex-sister-in-law is married to a guy that grew up there and so they bought property to retire on and just finished building their house last year. They now live in Edmonton and I live in Calgary. We will be flying there together out of Calgary. I am really looking forward to it. [chrislotz]
I am going to their house for easter next weekend. My ex-father-in-law will be there too and I haven't seen him in about 10 years so it will be nice. I am going to Edmonton where they are now living till they retire in a couple years. [chrislotz]

hi Jen there are certain places I would like to visit and certain people I would like to see for sure, but I am more of a homebody than a traveler. I dont mind that now for financial reasons we have not travelled in the 7 years we are together, 4 of them married, apart from family visits that needed to be. [book1962]
You should do it book! I can imagine your tired from working all the time though..I know I am. [JenInTN]

Yes, I've always had the wanderlust ever since I wandered off to explore the neighbourhood at the age of 5 and got brought back by a policeman. I've been to most European countries, I'm in Britain, so that's no big deal for me, but I've been to the US many times, since I have friends in Oklahoma and I fly over to visit once or twice a year. I like to travel and see different places and different people, but sometimes I think that the best part is getting back home happy [jwfarrimond]
Sometimes traveling gives an apprectiation for the homes we have. Especially if we do it a lot. I have it in me to go but at the same time I want to always come back. Thanks for responding. [JenInTN]

Even though I fantasize a lot about traveling different weird and amusing places. Places untrodden, unknown and different, mostly uninhabited, I am NOT a traveler JenIn. I think travelers have a different motivation and blood as you have rightly said. They are always on Wheels having their rucksack packed and holidays planned. They lead a different life with different kind of attitude towards life. They are itinerant and ever moving. happy [mimpi1911]
I know what you mean mimpi! I've always been lead back home one way or the other. One day [JenInTN]

When I was younger I traveled a LOT and loved it and always alone. Just in the United States, though. I've been to and lived in Virginia, Washington State, Florida, and California. Now that I'm older I don't travel anymore. I'm just happy to be in my little apt in San Diego, California I guess. wink Who knows? Maybe if the situation presents itself again......... Yet again, I have a cat and we are both joined at the hip! LOL! Purrs, Catwoman=^..^= & Mija [kellyjeanne]
Some cats are just indoor type cats. Alot of them are very funny about strangers and being out. That guy has probably taken that cat everywhere with him from the time it was very small. I think it's cute too. [JenInTN]

I often travel difference places but i am looking forward to travel all over my country then i can step in to another countries so which places do you like most of the time? [Dasari100]
Most of the time I am at home but I like to visit the beaches in the summer and go places I have never been. I like to explore a bit. Thanks for the response. [JenInTN]

My wife is a travel nurse and we started this little adventure about two years ago. Since then we've been to Florida, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and now were in California. We can't imagine doing anything else, we plan to travel for about 5 or 7 years. We don't mind moving every three months either, we don't want to be anchored anywhere. [gitfiddleplayer]
Mine are not quite that young. My girls are 15 and 10. I bought my house January of 2008 and we just moved to a different school district and you would have thought the world had ended..lol. They are well adjusted now and realize they can still see most of their old friends but that first 3 or 4 months were tough. I guess it is better to start them early if your going to travel. [JenInTN]

I love to travel but i cant afford much expanses soo i just keep myself at home. whenever i got some money i will arrange a quality trip around the world. I want travel across the world not just in a particular country. Soo lets see when fate gives me chance. [rockydam83]
I hope you get your chance. I would love to see the world too. Thanks for responding. [JenInTN]

I would love to travel! I have been all over the states, but never outside the country. Any traveling I would do would have to be done as a family though, so it kinda knocks out some of the err, funner places. Not to mention, would be much more expensive. [milkmaid]
I know what you mean. Most of my travels are family matters as well. It is very expensive. Thanks for the response. [JenInTN]

Hello JenInTN! I do travel a lot. I enjoy traveling alone or with people I love. Of course I love staying at home where I can relax. But, nothing beats a well-deserved travel time. [dolce_vita78]
Your right about that! I love a well deserved travel. I am planning on traveling a little this summer because it will be two years since I had a real vacation. We have traveled to Indiana to visit my man's family but that's not like being sprawled out on the beach somewhere..lol..Thanks for responding. [JenInTN]
