There are many beautiful and exortic places in countries around the world. I do get the chance, once in a while, to visit some of those places. I was in Salzburg, Austria, once. Oh, that was an awesome place, beautiful and so scenic !
I did not miss the opportunity to take photos of those scenic places. I have a collection of those photos now. Do you take photos when you visit new places , places you had not been to before ?

oh i love to take photos if i am going somewhere new or going to do something exciting. i always take my camera when i am going to hang out with my friends and i do that a lot. just because you never know what your gonna be doing and you might want to take pictures. i always take it when i go out of town or to a theme park, maybe a weeding or anything of that sort. I love to take many photos of places i have travelled to. I have been to alot of different countries around the world. I have only just realised lately, how beautiful my own country actually is. I have started to take my camera with me a lot when I go out, to take photographs of the things I see here. I live in Northern Ireland near the Antrim coast and it is beautiful. Yes, I do. I usually take pictures of the places that I visit because you don't know when you will be coming back. I attach a picture in this discussion when I visit Baguio City here in the Philippines. It is the first time that I visit the place and my husband and I took a lot of pictures. That was a year ago. Baguio city is the coldest place in the Philippines because it is a city on top of a mountain. happy [bianroxas]
Yes, i do take pictures of places i have never been before. I do keep them too, as a collection, so i can take a look at them once in a while. Austria, is one country i am fascinated with, though i have only seen pictures of it. Nice to see you again. [sweetie1026]
i love taking pictures especially when visiting new places.they serve as souveniers.taking pictures of places also captures memories and experiences that we had in the place.The last place we had a vacation at was in Palawan and we had tons of pictures there.The experience was really memorable. There have been three great trips I have taken and I didn't take a camera. I have all the great things I saw in my head. I went to New Orleans , before Katrina, L.A. and San Francisco, and Montreal and I still remember all the beautiful things I saw. What I do have is postcards. I prefer them. [sarahruthbeth22]
yes! it's a must.. i always make sure to bring my camera with me whenever hubby and some close friends invite me to go out and visit interesting places... you know, we have to make every trip or every activity memorable by getting souvenirs and taking photos.. i have plans of getting myself an 8 MP samsung mobile phone camera so i won't need to bring my mom's digital camera with me.. Definitely, photos are the best remembrance you can get of a place you've been to. When your memory fails you, you can just look at the photos you took and reminisce about the good times spent on certain place. Of course I do. But only if I have a camera with me. I love to take photos even of there are many that usually don't turn out that great. :/ (like a shaking hand making weird ugly photos,etc.) I would actually love to buy a new camera so that I can make better photos but they seem to be so expensive that I can't afford one right now. Yes of course! Although I've been almost all around the world, I'd never been to North Wales. Went there recently with my wife and niece from Vietnam and we all loved it. What a beautiful place. We took more than 400 photos on a week..haha! The good thing is, I can now put them all on disc, with a slideshow and add music and it's great! Brings it all to life with music playing. [viet129]

Hi my friend Green Line. In my lounge I have a whole shelf in my glass display case of my travel photos in albums for each different trip. In the days of a camera needing film I used to buy 12 or so at a time because I took lots of photos. On my trip around the world I got photos developed in the USA, Australia and Malaysia. I sent the negatives home and kept the photos. I had hundreds of them and Photography wildlife I could get 4 good pictures out of 36 shots. I was so pleased when I got a digital camera and I like being able to view my photos straight away and delete the ones that are not good enough. When I photograph wildlife I can delete any that are awful and try again until I get a superb shot. I love to take photos of spectacular views. Sometimes I get photos of the local people like a lady carrying a basket on her head and the Masai Mara dancers. I have been to Salzburg many times because it is so beautiful and one time was in the snow so that was extra special. I adore Cesky Kromlov in the Czech Republic, Prague, Budapest, Dubrovnik and Lisbon. I have my best travel photos enlarged and put in frames in my hall and bedrooms in my home. [maximax8]

Well, I also take photos of interesting subjects. I take photos of interesting places or spots. I have several albums at home where I keep all these pictures. Others have already been framed. I always take snaps when go to new places just to memorize them in the pics. It is a good Hobby too to take photographs for scenaries and great resorts. This is a shot of a Nature Center I visit a lot for walking etc. This is a shot of some of the beautiful colors of the leaves etc last month. Absolutely. Our most recent trip was to Rarotonga (Cook Islands) for my sister in laws wedding and we took lots of pictures and videos. Even when we go to our sons activities or fairs and festivals, I take pictures of us all the time and then blog about them. [maddysmommy]
I probably would if for no other reason that to prove I'd been there. I know after I've been on a special trip with family and/or friends, it's fun to get together and relive the experience through our pictures. Yes, definitely. I always have my camera handy when travelling to a new place. I make sure to take quality pictures of the scenery alone. I also make sure to take pictures of myself with the scenery in the background. Pictures are very important to me because I can show people where I have been and what I have done.
