I am trying to go to as many places on my travel wish list as possible in my life time. My favorite cities that I have been to so far are Sydney, San Francisco, Prague, Budapest, Dubrovnik, Salzburg and Lisbon.
Here are the five cities that I want to go to:
1. Cape Town, South Africa
2. Vancouver, Canada
2. Cartagena de Indies, Colombia
3. Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
4. Kyoto, Japan
5. Beijing, China
I will be going to Cape Town this month and I can't wait.

One of my friends went to New York and loved it there. It is meant to be superb for shopping. Sydney is my favorite city because of its setting on the harbor with the white sails of the opera house and the gray harbor bridge. It has pretty beaches north and south like Palm Beach. I like to travel and experience different places, sights and sounds. My top 5 countries, not necessarily cities: - New Zealand - Switzerland - China - South Africa - Japan and also not necessarily in that order. [rameshn]
New Zealand has really scenic countryside and amazing opportunities for walking along its tracks. It is my third favorite country. Switzerland is really picturesque. I hope that you will go to those five countries and have a wonderful time. [maximax8]

Paris, France- Well, I did take French for 3 years in High School. Bangkok, Thailand-Well, it's the capital of Thailand and I always wanted to go there. I was very young so I have vivid memories of it. Naga City Majority of my family is there from my mom's side. Manila, Philippines- I have there before. I love it. I ice skate there for the first time. Songkla, Thailand I was born there and live there in an orphanage before I was adopted. [cjasie08889]

I'm not keen on leaving the country these days ... there's too much of Australia still to see and I'm not sure I'd have the energy and/or enthusiasm for too many hours in planes, trains and automobiles! However, I'd love to revisit Venice - and I have a dream of going to a little fishing village in Cornwall called Polperro. I'd stay away from all the huge, crowded cities of the world - too old to cope with being pushed and shoved. [guybrush]
I really want to go to Broome in north west Australia. Besides all the wonderful beaches, and places to visit, it's where my son and his family lives. Unfortunately it's out of my budget, so I will have to wait. I'd also like to revisit London and New York to see the changes ofer the past forty years. Wow to narrow it down to five would be tough. A lot of them would be in the US... I have travelled abroad a lot but not in the US... So let's start with US cities. NY, NY -- yep never been there. San Fran -- gotta see that city Key West -- lived in FL for many many years and never been there! Chicago -- broadway play, movie, and now a president from there (GOD don't forget OPRAH!!!) gotta see it Boston -- where it all started 'eh... paakin' m' caa' o' th' lawn oh I couldn't stay for long As for overseas in no particular order I would have to do countries not cities China, Australia, Galapagos Islands, South America (Belize, Rio, Brazil, etc...), Denmark, Sweden, Ireland... there are a lot of places I would like to see..... If you're speaking in terms of cities I've never been to before, then I would probably go with the following: 1. Hamburg, Germany 2. Anywhere in Bavaria (Germany) 3. Falmouth, England 4. Hobart, Indiana 5. Valdosta, Georgia (and surrounding areas) All of these are places where I have family ties. Hobart was even founded by one of my great-great-great grandfathers, and I have a natural curiosity in genealogy, so I would love to go anywhere where I have an ancestral connection. I am sure there are a ton of other cities and towns I could add to that list, however, these are the most prominent ones at this time. I would also like to go back and visit New Orleans one day, since that is where I am originally from, and my father's family has a history there spanning over five generations. [skydancer]
