yep. i spend almost my everyday with mylot for many months. i spend from 3 to 5 hours on the internet hooked on mylot. i love the site that's why i can't live a day without it.
yesterday (sunday), my bestfriend texted me saying that she wants to go out with me. and i thought that it's time for me to take a break and said yes.
we went to this beautiful place just within the city (davao city, philippines). i had been living here for 25 years and yet, i haven't explored much of the city. so, it's time for me to do so starting yesterday.
we went to crocodile park and seen so many animals (not just crocodiles). then been to the butterly house. wow! amazing!
it's fun to be back in nature once in awhile. feel the fresh air while sitting on a bench, see some kids running around happily, see the animals, see some butterflies flying around a big house...
we also stopped by this amazing antique doll repair shop. they had such an amazing collection of restored dolls.
so, what have you been up to? do you go out and have some breaks from mylot, too?

yep. 5 hours a day is my maximum time here. i need to do loads of things in a day. and i wanna see to it that everything's done as usual. [maryannemax]
weekend we go to chinatown with my hubby and go to visit friends on sunday..that is why i can't do much mylotting on the weekend..but i really enjoy this time with hubby..he really is my bestest friend..he is a most caring person..thank God for such a lovely company.. [yanjiaren]
i will soon go to sweden (i am from the philippines) to be with my boyfriend and start a life with him. and soon, i won't be in mylot much anymore since i want to spend more time with him. for now, if i can spend up to 5 hours a day. maybe next time, might be down to just 2. but who knows. but still, just like you, i want to spend time with my partner because i also think of him as my very best friend. It sounds like you had an absolutely wonderful day. I wish we had places close by to venture to. I long for the spring when we will once again be able to venture out and enjoy the sunshine. We could of course do it now, but I am not very fond of the cold weather. I would rather stay inside and keep warm. There is a butterfly place about 2 hours from us. I think that is great that you took a break from myLot and had a good time with your best friend. A person should not spend too much time here and should get out and have fun with family and friends. Today I went to church with my parents, met some of their friends and also went to a museum nearby to see my moms needlepoint on display so it was a nice day. I also went bowling with a couple of my teammates to get some practice in before our friday night league. Once I get shuffleboard gear I'll get back into shuffleboarding. [kgwat70]

I do agree with you that Davao is a nice place. It is peaceful, nice and simply beautiful. I haven't gone to the crocodile farms because we have lots of that here in manila! Hehe. But eden and malagos gardens are nice places to go to. To answer your question, yeah, I took some breaks too. Especially these days when the excitement in logging in to myLot is wearing off. hello. i had been to many manila times. infact, twice last year and i'll be going to manila again on march for my interview at the embassy. well, manila is nice. i was born there. i just can't cope up with traffic and all. but it's nice to have fun in that place. i was born there and my dad has his small architectural firm there and uses some pretty cool looking computer CAD software. that's why i go there often. i might have grown up in davao and had been here for 25 years. but i never go out that often. it's my first time to go to crocodile park. i've never been to gap farm! whew! i had been to malagos gardens and it's really wonderful to see the big eagle. i haven't been to eden. but my friend and i planned about it yesterday. that's good. sometimes we need to take a break from something - mylot, friends, work, family etc. We need some space just to breath, to explore, to rejuvenate. I usually go out with my family or friends whenever i feel confined here at home. [jep_toyo]

I do not spend so much time on mylot, than I should take a brake..:) I work on it only when I have some free time. it is noon in my country. I still have one hour to go to the kindergarten to collect my son, then we are wandering in the city,then we come home. So I only do this when I do not have else to do. Good luck! [Dolcerina]

Yes i would like to take a break from my job but i dont have enough time to do it, i have a day job adn my time to open mylot is during nite time, once i started it, i cant stopped until 12 Midnite but i have to stopped because i have to wake up early for work.I love to travel to different beautiful places but as i have said no time, maybe i will have to file vacation leave so that i can travel to other places maybe in your place. I hope i can earn alot here to support my travel. I hope i can preapare this thing this coming summer where my children will ahve their vacation. [god_spear]

Well as I don't use myLot from home, I do not have much time to take breaks as I'm in the office. I just answering or open posts depending on my work load here and if the work load is heavy then I do not work much on myLot, if the work is cool then I just answer a few discussions. Well on weekends I mostly spend the day sleeping because I need to cover up my beauty sleep and then I spend the rest going out with friends or something or the other. [vampirestonez]

wow! and you've reached your 100! hihih. good for you. i know how tiresome it is to look for discussions to go to. that's why i feel stressed, too and a break was great for me. it gets me a chance to the chef in the kitchen because I love cooking and eating. atleast per month, i post more than a thousand responses. and start my discussions, like atleast 10 or 15 of them per month. i don't really start my own discussion very often because i don't have much interesting ideas. my payments per month isn't bad at all. my payment here Ranges from 60 to 85 dollars per month. differs from month to month. have a nice day! It's very easy to get hooked on the internet. You just have to make sure and do what you did this weekend. Take time to get away and get back to the real world. I am very rarely online on the weekend as that is family time for me. [inked4life]

I spend so many hours here per day, and I can tell that you do too since you have over 5000 points by your name! *laugh* I too took a break on Saturday and did not post one time here on Mylot on that day. Last month, even the day that I had no internet access most of the day and then was home only a bit at night I did post one time. So Saturday was the first day since joining Mylot on Jan 1st of this year that I had not posted once. Anyway, I went out and got to see some people that I had been missing for months, people that I really adore. So that was great! I wouldn't have changed it for the world, even though I didn't get to talk to my friends here on Mylot! ^_^ [shywolf]
