I love to travel and have seen many places in the US, but would love someday to do some foreign travel. The first place I would like to see would be Rome, Italy. I would love to eventually visit each country and its cities and country side. And since we're talking "world" travel, I might love to venture into outer space to see the moon and the planets!How about you? If you could travel the world, where would you want to go first?Karen

I've been in New York for 6 years but anyway the first place where I would love to travel is Italy, same as you My fiance was born in USA but his family is Italian. Hmmm.. quite tough since I'm really a travel freak hehe =D maybe the first place I'd go to would be in London because I wanted to see Prince William in person =D and I also wanted to see the Big Ben hehe.. next place would be.. hmm.. Japan.. because this country is very culture-bound and I wanted to learn more about their way of living.. =D my next stop I think will be on Bible lands and I really wanted to go to the exact place where Jesus was crucified. I wish i had lots of money and i get to travel most of the places. Recntly i had received an email which had photos of A Village in Holland wherein u can't find a single road...all transportation are done by boats!!! That so nice!! Wish i get a chance [sahana84]
To travel only by boats would be wonderful. We have an island off the Lake Michigan shore where all the travel is done by bike, horse, or horse and buggy. I went on honeymoon there years ago, and have been back one other time. They have a the Grand Hotel, world famous fudge, and the only way to get there is by ferry or small plane. hi Karen I only was in the US once that was 20 years ago and that would be where I want to go first. I want to see all the states that make the USA together, from north to south. I am not too impressed with cold climate and temperatures so I could really do without Alaska I think but many other places sure are fun and a great place to be. [book1962]
These would all be places you would love to see. Once a plane on which I was flying landed in Salt Lake City. As it descended, it was like flying into a large bowl surrounded on all sides by huge mountains! If I can really travel the world, the first place I would really want to go would be Greece because I there are a lot of historical places in it. I mean, there are other countries that has historical places but Greece seemed to attract me the most. Second would be Italy then third would be Spain (just sharing!). Hmmm...on second thought, I would want to go each and every country because every country has something that they represent (eiffel tower-France, great wall-china, etc) but of course the first place would be Greece. This is a tricky topic Karen; I love travelling and it's just too hard to choose from among the many beautiful nooks and crannies in this big beautiful world. Hmmm I visited Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. The pagodas and Buddhist temples in Thailand are awesome. I have been to Japan twice in two different seasons, autumn and summer. Each visit is a different experience each time. Japan is a beautiful country, just like the Philippines. Like you, I too would like to explore Italy - all the cities there: Venice, Florence, Rome, etc. My other dream places are Prague, France, China, Spain, Germany, and other "old world" countries with rich cultural and architectural heritage. Oh, why not outer space too, if it is economically possible. It would be an amazing "out of this world" experience, right? [sunbeams]

Hi, i am from Malaysia. Yes, i like travelling too, but i do not travel very often because it needs quite an amount of money.lol Usually i go for trips with my gang of close friends, and so far we have only went for places in our country or our neighbour country such as Singapore. I always wish that i will have the chance to travel further, to foreign countries. If i could travel the entire world, wow, that will be awesome! The first place i will go is Taiwan, a place that i've long for. I do not have any special reason why i choose it, basically it's just because i want to go there to see the beautiful places of interest there, and also try the nice food there. I really love traveling and have been to 52 different countries so far in my lifetime. I really wish that I could visit South America because there is lots there that I would like to see. I would want to go to Machu Picchu, Cartagena de Indies and Rio de Janeiro. I would be able to try to speak some Spanish in Peru and Colombia. Next I would fly across to Asia to do some island hopping and snorkeling. There would be so many different places to enjoy visiting. [maximax8]

I travel a lot, and I have been to many countries in different parts of the world. I have been to Italy too and a number of countries in Europe. One ccountry there I haven't been to is Liechenstein ! First of all I would want to go on a trip around all of Europe. I am from Europe and I think it would be a good place to start travelling to explore the different languages, cultures and beautiful places within the continent i am from. I would also like to travel the USA. This is a goal. I really want to go to America and determined I will do so. I have been to Australia before and would love to go there again, and do a lot more travelling and I would also like to visit New Zealand and Japan. These are the main places I would like to travel. Don't have any particular country in mind. Anything something different. Because of internet and gone to some places and experience it, I feel that the world and people has some similarity and each place has it's own ugliness and I'm easily discouraged by that so I don't want to stay in foreign places as an immigrant for life. But if it's only travel, visit, i would say anywhere I've never been to. Contrast to what I have just said, each new place has refreshing feel because surely it'd be different from the surroundings I've known and mould me. The joy of traveling like you were born again, new things to discover without being tied to the limits of your own culture or vision for a while. feels like we heard much of US and, it's like very near though ugly, but America must be beautiful and tame on some states,just some feel, never been there. some countries in europe like Germany those feels like quiet but belongs to first world and don't have so much problems and not in the news always. sort of ideal conditions, not sure though. some sights in Vietnam simplicity also reminds me of Philippines from childhood when it was quiet when it was about all those fields and agricultural. But I don't really know bout that country. They are just feelings they give me when I see some familiar sights. And yes, outer space. Moon, Mars,venus. When you're tired of earth. If i was to travel the world, i would DEFINATLY go to Italy, 1st stop in italy: tuscany it is B.E.A-UTIFUL...yellow rose fields, random markets on the streets, buy some pasta pizza..mmm :P kids playing on the beach in summer. Ahhhh ... been to Roma this year. February. Loved it so much, and despite my being there for a week - still didnt see everything. Missed out on the catacombs, the villa borghese, castel san angelo, some of the major churches - but I did see the vatican, its two museums, the four basilicas, the colosseum, arch of constantine, and so many other wonderful sights. You know what I loved so much? When I watched Angels and Demons and recognised all the places there .... especially Piazza Navona, and also the Piazza del Poppolo. Anyways, back to what I would love to see - I would love to see Vienna, Paris, Cairo, New York, Bruges, Edinburgh and Meccah. :) Nice discussion [cooler1968]

I would want to go to Switzerland first. I have heard a lot about Switzerland as one of the best places on earth to live. So I would love to see it. Wow! Thats a nice question. If I could travel the entire world I have some plans for my lifetime to visit. The sequence of my favorite liking spots are 1. Niagara Falls, 2. Grand Canyon, 3. The Great Amazon River, 4. Wild Life of Africa, 5. Switzerland, 6. Rome & Italy, 7. Pyramid, 8. Andaman & Nicobar Islands, 9. Lakshadwip & 10. Kailash & Manas Sarovar. These all are my first 10 preferences, but besides these I have so many choices. Mostly I like to visit the nature created by God. But God has not given me so much money to travel places like these. If anytime God will bless me, I must try to visit these favorite spots. [sujaysen]

If I were to tour around the world, the first place that I would want to go to is Paris. It has been known to be the city of romance and a fashionable world.
