I would choose Egypt. I have always been obsessed with Ancient Egyptian. I even know how to properly mumify a body! I have 2 tatoos of hieroglyphics on me. I'd love to see the pyramids and the culture and everything. Egypt has always caught my attention more so then other places. Though, it would be nice to go to all of them! [liltunergirl]
I have seen the pyramids from the air and that was special. I would love to see Egypt from the ground level next time. It is wonderful that you are obsessed with Ancient Egypt. You have tatoos of hieroglyphics on you, wow. I really hope that you will go on Egypt one day because it would be the perfect destination for you. [maximax8]
First of All I would like to go to England.. 1.England : London,Birmingham 2.America : New York,Washington 3.France : Paris 4.Australia : Sydney,Perth. I would like to go to these places... first.. and than other.... [mbilal91]
It is excellent that you have made up your own ideas about where you wish to go. I have been to London and Birmingham in England. I have been to Paris in France. I have been to Sydney and Perth in Australia. I hope that you will go to all those places. [maximax8]
For me it would be a tough decision between Peru and China! Australia and Philippines would also be great so my wife and I could see both of our families; but I have heard from a number of friends that Peru is one of the most beautiful countries they have ever seen and I have always wanted to see the Great Wall of China. [James72]
It is fine for you to choose more than one because you have some wonderful reasons for doing so. The Great Wall of China would be an amazing sight and I have always wanted to go there. I would hopefully travel on the train from Moscow to Beijing and so that would be a very long train journey. It would be superb for you to meet your wife's family in the Philippines and for your wife to meet your family in Australia. Yes, I have seen photos of Peru and it looks spectacular James. [maximax8]
4 because I don't like huge towns very much... [lronMaiden]
Yeah, I'm sure it has happy [lronMaiden]
My husband and I were talking about going back to the Philipines. There are many snorkeling spots there and beautiful natural spots. The beaches are lovely also. Then next is going to China because we like to go to the Great Wall. [allurejan]
The Philippines sounds like my sort of destination because I love going snorkeling around coral reefs. I am sure seeing the Great Wall of China would be fascinating. [maximax8]
If I have to choose one, I would pick Africa. But I would rather go to Ethiopia or some other poor area where I could be of service to help. The last two vacations I took was to help rebuild after hurricane Katrina. To me, the ultimate vacation is one where you get to see new things, meet new people and help those less fortunate. [WhatsHerName]
Excellent. You like to travel to help less fortunate people. I am sure that your help would be valuable in Africa. Well done for helping to rebuild after hurricane Katrina. happy [maximax8]
Canada, I loved the botanical gardens there. Was a strip mine and the mine was fizzling out. The owner had been raised with the families that worked there, he wanted to keep having work for himself and the other families, so he changed it by bringing in dirt, etc. and seeds and plants. It's beautiful! But all of the ones you listed are terrific! [writersedge]
My Bother-in-law grew up in Vancouver and I have seen his photos. Canada looks like an amazing country. I really enjoy visiting botanical gardens and seeing all the lovely plants. I have heard that Vancouver Island has a stunning botanical garden. [maximax8]
I have done 1 & 2. And I tell you Egypt is wonderful - I loved it. Of course, that was one place when I was growing up that I knew I had to go visit. I always loved the art and stories. For my next trip(s) I am planning on 9 & 10, especially Tokyo because I have a friend that lives there and I haven't seen her for over 10 years. Those are both places I have wanted to visit for a long time. After that, onto Australia for me. [SukiSmiles]
I am delighted that you have been to Egypt and South Africa. It would be great for you to see your friend in Tokyo. There is so much to see in Australia that you could spend quite a long time there. I hope that you will enjoy your next trips and have a fantastic time in Asia exploring the landscape. I have to go to Egypt because I think it would really appeal to me. [maximax8]
its so hard to choose one but i like the us and above the us is canada so i would chose vancouver its kinda cool the thought of the beauty of CA and the forest and cities romantic it is so [nite1tiger]
Canada would be an excellent place for you to choose. Vancouver in photos looks like such an interesting and beautiful city. There is much of interest in North America and so I have been back a few times. [maximax8]
I would have Peru on the top of that list. I think because every person I know who has been to Peru only has good things to say about it. Cuzco interests me and visiting Machu Picchu is one of the things I want to do in my life. I think being up there would be a very spiritual experience. Then I would go for India and Egypt because I have always been fascinated with these two and the people and their culture. [SaintAnne]
Thank you maximax! I hope I see them too, wait, let me rephrase that, I will see them in the future! happy [SaintAnne]
Canada definitely. I have been to a couple different areas of Canada and really loved it. Would definitely love to go back. The area that we were at seemed so clean and pretty. So you can send me a ticket. I'll go :-)! [Virgie60]
It is excellent that you have been to Canada and loved it so much that you would like to go there again. It is a huge country so it better to go there a few times than see it all on the first trip. I would love to go to Vancouver, Vancouver Island, The Rocky Mountains, Prince Edward Island and Halifax. If only I could send everyone a ticket to their dream place! I wish! Happy traveling. [maximax8]
i would say i would explore first my country Philippines cause im from here i havent visited spots here, so why come to other countries, lol, next would be china, you know i have chinese blood and it would be great to be with my ancestors, and also i have relatives their, next would be england, this place for me is very awesome!!!next would be egypt, just love those pyramid, and i want to see real mummies, lol [carmela0210]
Thanks for saying that you would love to explore more of your own country. The Philippines makes a long time to explore because it has so many different islands all with something interesting to see. Palawan sounds like the most amazing place to go for an adventure. Most of all I would love to see the Chocolate Hills in Bohol. I think it is interesting to look at family history and I know that you would have an interesting time in China. I hope that you will see the pyramids in Egypt one day. I know that you would love it in London and find it easy to explore England because it is quite small. [maximax8]
New Zealand.. because i wanted to see my aunt who is currently working somewhere in NZ.. I have seen her photos and the sceneries were lovely... i'd like to see the green pastures, the mountains and of course some unique places that i've never seen before.. [gracie04]
I know that you would really enjoy visiting your aunt and seeing some areas of New Zealand. I went there in 2001 and 2002. I had such an amazing time. The landscape is as beautiful as the photos show. I thought wow every time I saw a new view there. The Abel Tasman Walkway is so special and I met a guy that goes there every year from Germany. [maximax8]
Can we choose more that one? I'd totally choose China and Japan because I love Asian food XD Who can resist the alluring taste of dim-sum and sushi!! Not to mention "little dragon" buns and so much more! [asdrandomasd]
Yes, you can choose China and Japan. Yes, you would enjoy the food in both countries and if I went there I would eat a lot of rice. [maximax8]
I choose my first destination would be Tokyo Japan. Aside from there beautiful scenery, delicious cuisines, I love to go there to buy a lot of my favorite gadgets and appliances... My second destination would be in Beijing China to see their Great Wall... [warrior_777]
It would be great for you to travel around Japan with a rail pass. You should bring a large bag to fit all your purchases in because that is the place all the best gadgets come from. Yes, it would be amazing for you to see the Great Wall of China on a day trip from Beijing. [maximax8]
I would prefer Canada where the memorable moments of snow capped mountains of vancouver will alwaz be thrilling. It will be so cool n romantic atmosphere when i walk through the beach and beside the rivers and lakes which i have seen only in photos....anywaz i will njoy with my hubby there... [rajini2385]
thank you for ur reply...i will surely visit canada n wil r'ber ur suggestion too... [rajini2385]
Hi Maxine, they all sound really wonderful places to visit but for me I think it would be Australia or Peru so a choice between these two really. As you know my daughter has visited Australia so my first choice would be Peru as none of the family have travelled there so it would be a toally new experience to come home to be able to share. Ellie :D [ellie333]
Hi Ellie. Yes, Peru would be an exciting and new destination for you. I know that you would have an enjoyable time in Australia and your daughter would be able to guide your choices of destinations. It is a huge country so traveling by bus and train takes a while so are great on a long holiday. It is superb to fly around on a short holiday. Sydney is my favorite city. Wow! I would love to walk the Inc Trail in Peru, that would be my first choice. Maxine happy [maximax8]
I would probably say China just because I really would want to walk the great wall - however Ne Zealand comes a close second as I hear it is beautiful and the scenery is stunning! x [frankiecesca]
normally I would say just any tropical beach but seeing the list I can actually second that and go with Egypt or Peru in fact, both ! if i can afford it and I have time, these are the places I will go Tropical beach is perfect to have a lazy holiday but there is something about old cultures and history that attracts me probably because the civilization no longer exists [LittleMel]
I also have a love and appreciation for tropical islands and I tend to mix a visit to one of those with some history and culture. It is lovely that you would like to go to Egypt and Peru. If you fly to Lima why not stop off in the ABC Islands in the Caribbean. I really like the way you describe why you are interested in ancient civilization. [maximax8]
Well i choose Amsterdam.... That is one place i would love to go again and again... [davidjones]
I have been to Amsterdam a few times and think the canals and old buildings look lovely. [maximax8]
raspWOW,Some many interesting and attractive places, can I make multi-choice? For me,first destination I like to visit will be Canada:Vancouver,Vancouver Island and the Rocky Mountains.I always saw the beautiful pictures from the blogs and album of my friends, which make me totally lost--good feeling. As well, one of my Canada colleague told me that the enviroment is wonderfully well there and quite a lot of fresh food~~Therefore,my next abroad travelling will definitely Canada; Let me tell the 2nd one,I will choose Egypt, the mystery places in my mind. LOL~~ Furthermore,if have enough money on hand,I would like to visit all the places you mentioned,of coz not include China--I'm been here~~ [tonytt2009]
I like to go to Japan I like to be there where technology and hard work is living ... [maathavan]
I prefer no. 3! I want to see the islands of vancouver and the rocky mountains there. That is really my dream place too! After that i can then visit the other destinations i have in my list. [nlcapricorn]
Hmm. I'd love to go to all places. To travel around the world has always been one of my biggest dreams. First of all, I'd love to visit India to see the Taj Mahal. From what I learned from my History class Taj Mahal was built by an emperor in memory of his wife. It's a symbol of love and since I'm a love love I want to see the magnificent work of art for myself. Then all the rest in no particular order. I love traveling...;D [divinegwapa]
Japan. I don't like the heat much so some of the rest of the heat is too much for me. I love japanese food and i'm attracted to the temples and zen contemplation of kyoto. My problem would be the language and getting lost. If i could i would combine it with a trip to shanghai. Although i have issue with the chinese regime, i would love to go shopping there. stock up on silk for my sewing and spices for the kitchen and perfume box. We have family in new zealand who are always up for being visited but i live in scotland which looks pretty similar to NZ anyway! Peru and the temples there would be awesome but i'm not fit enough to do that and i'm allergic enough to horses that the alternative of trecking on one would be a nightmare. Mind you i do think there there could be a fantastoc marketing opportunity in selling coca leaves in the UK/USA if you can find the leagal loophole for them. [indium]
i will choose the Great Wall ,because i was born in china and i had been there many times .the Grwat Wall was built by old chinese ,they spent lots of time in it and they lived a very drudge lives everyday ,though they made a great article and the following people can inspect it . [dpjddh03556462006]
Hi, As I've always been fascinated with japanese culture, I'd definitely go to Japan. It's this mixture of tradition and hi-tech world makes it so interesting for me. Also that japanese people are so eager to learn and get to know new things. So Japan - it was the easiest pick of my life :) BTW - no Europe? ;) [Miziou]
I would love to say ALL OF THEM!! They are fabulous places that I haven't seen yet. But the three I would certainly want to visit would have to be Japan (my son is there and it would be nice to visit him, plus I have heard tons of wonderful things about it!), Peru next. That has a great reputation too and Egypt. There is something pretty awesome and romantic about the place. But it would be nice to be rich enough to see them all before I die! :o) [MsCYPRAH]
I think I would like St Maarten, Bequay, London and definitely the Spanish Riveira. Those are the places I choose first to go to. Whenther or not I will ever get there is a different story. [Bluepatch]
i prefer european countries like italy,france,germany,switzerland. [kayeshayne21]
Good day.. I always like to visit Egypt and the pyramids I mean a man's creation that defies time itself, the concept and the engineering always fascinates me when I first learned about it in the books. the Pharaohs and the nile. It just mystifying and I want to experience it first hand. [blackmantra_x]
well.. for me, definitely i'll go to australia.. The view there is very nice and i can do lots of things that i cant experience here in the philippines.. [abiel_paltao]
i would choose 1 since i always wanted to see the pharoh, the great pyramid and the great reliks. The nile river is long. Maybe we might see the old towns and citys maybe villages. I also like the egyptian myth and and stories -rangerkoji- [rangerkoji]
I want to go Canada. That very nice country. I want to see Canada's all city. [bappisingh]
Las vegas, NV Death Valley, CA Red Rock Canyon, Las vegas NV Grand Canyon, AZ Los Angelos, CA San Diego, CA [coolguy01]
Canada of course! It is an attractive place! You have no reason to dislike it,besides ,it is near the United States. [REALBEYOND]
Philippines, of course. I need to love my own. I haven't gone to Boracay yet. And Laoag is nice too in the north. The new island spot here in the Philippines are those located in Bohol. I suggest you go there for some beach fun, get some tan, snorkel and see the underwater beauty in those islands. [ethanonthemoon]
i like to go to england: London.. i like their accent.. i also want to go Boracay in the Philippines.. I am studying in the Philippines for a long time, but i haven'nt been to Boracay, even Tagaytay.. My friends told me its a nice place to surf, partyhappy and etc... I also want to see the Great Wall of China, and visit egypt, i want to see the ancient pyramid of pharaoh..and many more.. [cuttyrish]
Well I live in Candada and have been to the Rockies which are beautiful and to Vancouver, which is busy so thats out but Canada is very beautiful ;) I would choose Australia. I think it looks beautiful and I've always have wanted to go there. [mom4kids]
Well I would really love to go europe and yeah I want to go in Barcelona,Germany,Scotland,France,Vatican city the place of pope, and yeah hawaii..:-0 Well my greatest dream is to travel around the world and I am really hoping that one day I can reach that dream..:-0 GOd bless and have a nice day..:-0 [insulin]
Well my friend I think you know my answer straight away without me revealing it LOL! But some of the other destinations sound absolutely wonderful, exotic and very adventurous, I don't fancy South Africa though that is one country that never appeals to me, no disrespect to anyone. Which would be your top destination out of those my friend and I can imagine that you have been to some of them already! [wolfie34]
