In my country, Spring is starting. I live in Chile, South America. In my country there are all kinds of climates as it´s a long and thin country. We have the Andes on one side and the Pacific Ocean on the other. The country is safe enough even for youngsters to come with backpacks and tents.
All of South America is starting spring. There are beaches, forests, desert, mountains. You name it, we have it.happy
I´m inviting you. Would you like to come and visit us? Where would you go?

I'd like to visit Chile someday. Actually I know this portuguese girl that lives in Santiago and she's told me certain things about your country. I just don't get why the title of your thread has nothing to do with the content of the same? [Eisenherz]
I´m sorry. I just wanted to say that in South America we are starting Spring and that you are invited to visit us.happy [marguicha]
Actually, I am on the other side of the spectrum, and I would like to escape summer. I live in California in the USA, and we are still seeing temperatures as high as 100+ degrees Fehrenheit, and we are only 3 days away from October! This summer has lasted way too long. Not only have we still had to endure the heat, which I think we can all agree, we are sick of, we haven't even had our first seasonal rain shower either. So it's hot, dry, and crunchy. Please hurry winter!!! [princess07031980]
Hey marguicha I too experience all the seasons here. And in a few days, monsoon is going to get over and winter season is going to begin. And but still I would like to visit south america and love to see how it is because I didn't visit there anytime. So, would surely want to come there but I can't. [sheen13]
Hi my friend. Winter in my home country lasts from December until February and at the moment it is autumn. That lasts from September until November. In January of this year, when it was winter, I did manage to escape over to South Africa. I took my toddler son to Cape Town and the Garden Route. I would love to come over to South America. There are so many places there that I would like to visit. Most of all I adore thinking about the possibility of visiting Machu Picchu in Peru. Then I would travel down to Chile to see Santiago and the lake district. I would pop over to the border of Argentina and Brazil to see the waterfall. Then I would carry on traveling across Brazil until I reach Rio De Janeiro. On another trip I would love to visit Cartagena de Indies, San Andres and Providence Island in Colombia. I would really like to meet you if I come over to Chile. [maximax8]
You will, friend, when you come. I have a place in my house and in my heart for you. The Cataratas de Iguazú are awesome. They are in the frontier of three countries, in the Paraná river. Rio de Janeiro is awesome too. I visited ir a long time ago. I do want to go to Machu Picchu, but I wouldn´t like to go alone. I´m sending you a picture of myself at the Iguazú waterfalls.Hug [marguicha]
hi marguicha that sounds lovely. I would relocate in a heartbeat if I could find work. But I would have to learn Spanish first and find it quite complicated. I would love to go somewhere to the seaside I think. Have a wonderful happy springtime. Winter will be here quite soon and I hate it....... [book1962]
My South America!!!!!!, 7 years ago I live in Mexico, and I'm Argentina, and Chile are so close to not even know him, I would like at some point to go visit and learn a little more Chile, I have frieds Chilean Mapuche Communities, I like their music, and scenery, the simple way to treat people, hopefully at some point all have the oppurtunity to know this beatiful country. [amichi]
I live in the stare of Tamaulipas, northeastern Mexico, a semi-desert zone in some places, I personally live near the mountains, where rivers are tributaries of mountains with clear water and enough vegetation, I'm used to their food, but initially cost me much since 99.9% of food is spicy , pepper chile, but the scenery is beatiful places, in different places are not as touristic as Cancun or Acapulco. There is a particular place that I liked a lot and not so well known Mennecke Wilitla, is just 350 kilometers from Mexico City, in the heart of the Huasteca region. You can find information through the Internet [amichi]
Why i WOULD COME TO YOUR HOUSE OF COURSE 'IF' I was coming over there, lol. [ANTIQUELADY]
i HAVE NO DOUBT BUT WHAT WE WOULD, HAVE A GOOD ONE. [ANTIQUELADY]
I am so jealous. :( I live in Singapore, and there are only two weathers, Sunny day and raining day. :( How I wish I can live at a country where there is 4 seasons. [leoling]
If my country have 4 diferent seasons..maybe i can feel my life so colourfull.. but the real is my country just had 2 seasons.. but I still Love my country Indonesia..:) [arabmaqlumz]
hi marguicha^^;; hhmmm...i can't escape from winter since we don't have that here.sad We only have summer/dry and rainy seasons. Though during December to February, it is pretty cold in here but we don't have snow. I wish i can visit countries having this season and I am looking forward this December. I'm jealous of one of my friends who has his own Piper personal aircraft. He can go anywhere whenever he wants to! Thank you for inviting us in your country. It is one of my dream to visit South America if finances is not problem but... I want to visit countries that are rich in culture and nature. You must be proud that your country is blessed in such a way [Lucky09]
hi arab^^;; i think your country and my country is partly similar in culture and tradition. though i have heard Bali, Indonesia is really beautiful but we have a beach paradise too which is the Boracay Island and Palawan Beaches. though im happy to hear u welcome us therehappy [Lucky09]
winter is very cold but I dont think i'll pay that much to escape it... ^^ [koharukusumi]
We are very far away from each other. It´s true! I suppose I´ll never go to the Phillipines either.sad [marguicha]
Well since you are in the Southern Hemisphere spring must really be nippy over there. So, what kinds of clothing do you wear when spring comes? If the invite is on and we have the time, I would make it. As usual, there is the budget to consider and to look for someone for house cleaning, or maybe some home house keepers. [gracefuldove]
I´m wearing jeans now and nikes as sahoes. I've been looking at Steves shoes for dress shoes, by the way. As it´s not so warm yet, I wear a sweater. At this time of the year, _I prefer to put on several layers of clothes, as on onion.lol. That way, I put them on or take them off whenver needed. My granddaughter (19) is using very light clothes. [marguicha]
I'd love to go to Chile, but I'd rather do it during your winter and our summer, since we get so HOT here in Texas - 68 days of 100º F days this year. I'd rather be cold than hot, I would rather come in your winter and our summer - to escape our hot, HOT summers in Texas. [ElicBxn]
You won´t have 38 or 40 where I live. It´s more like 26-28ºhappy [marguicha]
I love your country! Chile, Chile lindo! I have already been there a few times and hope to go again some time soon! I know Spring is starting soon, as I come from the country next door to yours: Peru! Unfortunately I am living in Europe now, where the winter is soon to start when I would rather be sitting by the Pacific, watching those beautiful sunsets! [sylvia13]
Hello! I am glad you commented! Machu Picchu is sure worth a visit, so I hope your dream comes true! You are the second person that has to do with Chile that I have met recently. The other person is called Sara and I met her through Ebay, as I wrote to her in Spanish when I saw her name, she answered and we are now friends! I now live in Austria, while Sara lives in Germany, always missing her Chile Lindo, of course! [sylvia13]
Wow! South America, I would like to come over to. The Andes, Santiago and Easter Island, there are too many places there that I would like to go. The city I now live is in the north-east China. Maybe I should dig a hole through the Earth, Chile is just at the end of another. :-) In my city, at that moment, it's starting autumn, pleasant climate. I like spring and autumn. I would really wish someday I can travel in Chile. [susangarden]
Lola, my dog, can help you did the hole from this side. She has already started itlol. I´m so happy that I´m not the only person in the world who thinkds you can go to China diggingw00t Happy posting!!! [marguicha]
hi, definitely I will not because most of the days in our parts of the world is so hot. The winter is what we all have been waiting for to have fun with. During the winter season, we would like to go to our friends house and cook something that is good for the season. Since we are living in a rural area, there are lot of fields around our house it will be very cool for our eyes. You won't have any trouble here if you need to find Farming equipment. Only people will come from cities here to their relatives home. [schentil]
for me ,at this present, it's fair, it is a good season ,though winter will come after two month, I just will enjoy now.....hey, wish you have a good time [chaoyan]
Thanks for the invitation!! Your country must be very beautiful. But I don't have the money to travel so much. I also live in a beautiful country called India. We have all kinds of weathers in different parts of the country. I have travelled over my country since my childhood because my father was an officer in the Indian Army. I got to see a lot of my country that way. But I would surely love to travel the world and see other countries if I have all that much money. [mohinimandokhot]
hi marguicha, i really like your country that in your description. i like a warm place and i hate winter. i never been in chile, but i know that it is a marvelous country. for one of my friend has worked there, and he said that local peole was kind to him. in my country winter is coming, i wanna to escape from winter. unfortunately, i have to work and i can not afford it. [buping]
Yes, I live in Shanghai China. We have obviously four seasons during the year. Anyway, how to judge these 4 seasons. I think every season has goodsides and badsides. In summer, here, the highest temperature could be more than 40 degree, however in Summer, we can swimming and eat ice cream. And In winter, the lowerest temperature could be less than -5 degree, really cold, sometimes the idea of escaping winter will come to my mind, However, the feeling of sleeping in the warm bed in cold winter are so nice! [gohigh00]
I live here in America in the state of Tennessee.Fall is in the air all the leafs changing color and the crisp bite in the air.I love the fall time and even winter.I like colder air better then the heat of summer. So I'm happy that the air is cooling down. [Spiderwebs]
Fall in the United States is a painter´s dream. I have been in the US in fall and the shades of the leaves are marvelous. But I don´t like snow so much, especially now that I´m old. My joints hurt with the cold. [marguicha]
Hello happy I actually like the winter its the summer that I want to run away from lol, any place cool when it is hot here in N.Y.C is fine with me; my cheap air conditioner isn't cutting it. winter nights are so great for sleeping nothing like covering in a nice warm blanket to put me right to sleep. Thank you. [kitty42]
Acutally No,I am in living in south china and the temp here in teh winter is around 25 degrees centigrade, only 10 or 15 days the temperature will be below 10 dregrees.so we never see snows in the winter,we also don't feel cold, even somebody wash himsel by cold water in teh winter and he doesn't feel cold. [sunny400611]
I also live in this part of India where we get to experience all seasons...I like all seasons except summer!!it is the worst here and to top it is humidity...I love winer as it never goes down below 8deg. It is comfortable too. In winter when we feel cold, we put on warm clothes, but in summer we have no option like that, do we??? Given a chance I would like to visit chile in our summer that is during april to june. [malpoa]
If I had the option of escaping the wintertime chills, I'd take it up in a heartbeat. I think I'd go to the areas where it's warmer. I could definitely use that time to my advantage, learning about areas away from home, first hand. [CRSunrise]
sure sounds really enticing I am in California by the way. i go lived here for years never been to South American would love to' see the Andes and the Pacific again,I know our side of the Pacific, also your forests and even the coasts.would love'to come to South America. [Hatley]
You would be very welcome here!!! [marguicha]
que hay de nuevo senora! i would love to spend my vacation by the second quarter of 2010 either in santiago or buenos aires. i live in saudi arabia and i usually had a 45 days vacation every year. last 2007 is my last visit to latin countries en americas and i am so much yearning to see and hear latino people again. i think there is no big difference between the middle easterners and latinos when it comes to physical structures. i used to work with a colleague who came from mexico for more than 5 years now and i am learning a little bit spanish from him. i really love spanish and i want to interract more fluently and eloquently espanol when i got there. we both took our higher level english class in our company so we both mediate and explain everything through our conversation.
