I think beaches can be really relaxing. Climbing a mountain can be peaceful and energetic. I think it can be interesting to visit a city with attractive looking architecture.

I really love the beach especially now that I have found the perfect beach for me. White and fine sand, crystal blue waters. I'm already relaxed just describing it and remembering my experience there. I am also glad that I have found my perfect beach in my own country. Hi,maximax8~! well, i live in a coastal city in China now and will go to the beach once in a while. the most attractive thing for me to do on the beach is to play football with some friends..lol. and i also enjoy climbing mountains, but not very often. the cities that i dream of visiting are Copenhagen, London and Cairo, for there are fairy story in Copenhagen, my favourite football team Chealsea in London and the pyramids in Cario. My choice would any day be towards the mountains.I am not sturdy enough to climb a mountain or get into adventurous treks but I can walk slowly up the winding roads at a tourist resort or so after I land there by some other vehicle. [kalav56]

Right now I really want to go to a beach. I used to live in Miami, Florida up until the end of high school. My friends and I used to go to the beaches every weekend. Those were some of the most memorable times in my life. I love mountains, as well. My favorite mountain range is the Himalayan range in India. I have been there once and the scenery was out of this world. I once climbed 16,000 feet and when we reached the plateau it leveled off, and there was this big lake right in the middle and it was surrounded by another 5 mountains. It was one of the most spectacular things I have ever seen. Cities don't interest me that much. I am not much into man made architecture so I won't comment on this. [greatsasuke]
The beach would be my ultimate destination, not gonna lie. I love cities, and bright lights, and all that good stuff..But I LOVE water, I LOVE swimming, and although I"ve never seen/been to an ocean, I know that I would be just.. astounded by it's beauty and serenity. Beach is the place where i can enjoy alot.I stayed for 6 years in a house just infront of the beach and i used to see the Beauty of it from the time i get up till i sleep.They are very relaxing and soothing that you can forget evrything and enjoy. I live pretty close to the beach and that is very nice, I enjoy going for a walk there, but I visit another country I usually prefer to visit cities instead of beaches or mountains. I love cities, because I am very interested in art and architechture, and I really enjoy "exploring" a new city. I like to visit different kinds of museums, but I am especially interested in the art museums and the local art galleries. I like to take pictures of the beautiful places that I visit. There are so many cities around the would that I would love to visit, so it is hard to mention just a few. Climbing the mountain is most adventurous and more exciting to go. I have climb several times in the mountains in our place. When you reach the top, it is an achievement. Along the rail going to the top. See many riverbanks, trees and mountains to pass. It is relaxing and needs more energy to reach on high. Can see the peaceful place and the views of the place around you with a 360 degree. Going to the mountain is more fun. I just wish I could climb the highest mountain in our country, the Mount Apo. I want to visit countries with ancient architectural designs like Eastern Europe perhaps. I was able to visit London and I really appreciate views that I've only seen before on TVs. Views of huge castles upcountry are amazing. The Big Ben in London although very ordinary to people there is a wonderful sight. I wish I will have the resources to travel again. cheers! [manong05]
Visiting a beach is a good choice, but I prefer to go mountain climbing. From where I stand, a beach or a city can't give me any attraction. As a boy, I like to be active and do some Sports everyday. So, going monutain climbing is a good way to build our body. You know, on a mountain, there are often more quiet for lack of people and I can enjoy the charming scenery. Of course, to have a breath of fresh air there is really attractive to me. If I have to make a choice between beaches and cities, a beach may be more attractive. [getbrowser]

I will surely prefer Sea beaches at first. Because I love it so much. It reminds me of its greatness and grace and our littleness. do I have to choose one or the other? I would certainly like to visit all three not necessarily in any order either. I live in a city that has two large lakes besides it so I am constantly able to visit sites near the water. Cities usually have an attractive side and an ugly side. However a large city is usually the only place you can get a large art museum or that kind of attraction, as well as large zoos and other attractions. Unfortunately I do not like large crowded areas and do prefer the country. My health was not allow me to climb mountains but I still marvel at the view when I am able to get up on a mountain with motorized transport. [mariposaman]
I would to go down to the purple sand beach in Big Sur, California. It is Pfeiffer State beach I think. Or perhaps up near Bodega Bay, California. For mountains, I'd love to see Mt Fuji in Japan, perhaps next year after winter has come and gone. Otherwise, Lake Tahoe in the Sierra Nevada's in California/Nevada is beautiful all year round. I love scuba diving, and I'm a sucker for warm clear tropical waters. I like to visit cities too, but I get sick of them pretty quickly. I am lucky to live within half an hours drive of all these, beautiful beaches, mountains with large waterfalls and magnificent rainforests and a city which is small enough to easily get around in. (For now anyway...lol) When I travel, I prefer to visit beaches or mountains as they are unique to whatever area I am in, but once you are inside a city, they are all fairly similar. I heard it has a high living cost, although it is I am trying my best to have a sufficient or more than enough money just to visit the place in a week. Hi maximax.Well I visit to beaches almost once in a year.So I am not desperate to visit more of them.But I would love to visit new cities.Cities with different culture and different people with different lifestyle as if they are completely living in a different time period.And coming to my favorite part the mountains.I jst love them.Specially if they have pretty high altitude with lovely wooden houses in between.I always dream of such mountains green trees everywhere and a stone path to walk on.I hope I will do more of traveling when I grow up.. And that has scared me so much that I wouldnt dare to go near a beach. I love ocean beaches I love swimming in the waves. Hawaii is amazing, but I would love to go to Australia the beaches there look beautiful. I hiked up a mountain a couple of months ago, it was quite a work out, but the view was breathtaking once we got up there, it was the Smokey Mountains. I will share a picture. I want to go to visit Mount Rushmore. Cities are also fun to visit. I love visiting different cities we went to New York once and it was very exciting, we live an hour from Chicago so we have been there many times it is a very nice place to visit too. I would love to visit downtown Dallas. We have been to Dallas but not the downtown area we have friends that live there and we have been to their house a couple of times and to restaurants near their house but have never been to the down town area. I also want to go to Rome some day. I want to visit many Italian cities, I would also love to go to Paris, and some other European cities. [ladym33]

If I want place to be alone and relax, I'll choose mountain! I would definitely like to visit the the beach! I love the mountain but the mosquitoes will probably be the main thing I'd be worried apart when I'm climbing (I can't help it, the buzzing always makes me annoyed! x_x) and even though the city sounds really tempting, the beach is the place I want to be right now, right this second! :D I'd love to visit the Cook Islands! I love the plan of going to some beach or resort. Thinking about the water and swimming would be so great but I don't like being under the sun.
